Topshop Nail Polishes!

Say hello to the new background! I think it looks pretty damn good, what do you guys think?
First off, I'd like to mention that I love Topshop with my heart and soul. If I had $1000, it would probably go to Topshop...I prefer it to any clothing brand.

I've heard a lot of great things about the Topshop nail polish line and I got myself some while I was in Japan last Christmas. The color range doesn't make you go "whao!" but it's the packaging that is SO adorable.
Because I got these in Japan, they were ¥840 apiece (£9). In the UK, you get these for £6, which is not too bad.

The first color I picked up is called Geography Teacher. Is it just me or the name really cute? Heh. Anyways, my nails are EXTREMELY short right now 'cause it's just convenient this way. When I have long nails, I tend to injure myself.
The formula isn't too goopy nor runny, it was nice. I like this color because it's subtle and isn't too in your face. However, I did find this a teeny tiny bit streaky but applying 2 coats made that issue go away.

The second color is called Country Bumpkin. It's a muted orange that's a great color for the summer. The formula is a little bit sheer so you would have to apply at least 2 coats.

Now, as you can see, the brush applicator is almost like the OPI ones but a lot thinner. This, I found to be quite effective since it's covers your nails with just enough product.

Overall, I think these are good quality nail polishes, however for £9, I'd rather get an OPI nail polish. But for £6, I think they're not bad at all! I would recommend the Topshop nail polishes to those of you who haven't tried them yet.

  7. Oh I love the Country Bumpkin colour! It's just the sort of colour I've been in to this summer. I think it could even be close to a dupe for Essie's Mango Bango. I'm just guessing though. And my nails are short too. I like them better that way.
